A CNC sawing and machining center is a computer-controlled machine that combines two essential steps for aluminium profiles. The profile is cut exactly to length and then fully machined according to predefined specifications. The machine operates based on a job file that contains all sawing positions and machining operations.
A typical CNC sawing machine consists of three zones. First, there is the infeed magazine where, for example, twenty profile lengths are loaded. Next comes the machining unit where sawing and machining take place. Finally, the finished parts are collected at the outfeed station, where they are neatly stacked.
